Bucks County Horse Park - Horse Trial

Brittany and Maya (Pleasant Meadow's Serendipity) competed for the first time at a Horse Trial.  Wooo - they were on fire.  Look out Eventing world - this pair is going to be hard to beat!  Fifth after dressage, and 4th overall!  Congrats.

Penny and Bug put in a very solid dressage test and devoured the cross country course!  They made the staduim round look like a cinch!  See you back at the show next month, you two.  Great job.  Fourth after dressage, and 8th overall, against some tough competition.

Our friend Wendy Pandy-Leh showed her Morgan/QH cross Jag in the Elementary Division at Bucks today.  It was her first time Eventing, and they ended up in 4th place overall (2nd after dressage).  Way to go Wendy & Jag!

Both girls ended up scoring in the mid 60's.  It was Maya's first show under saddle and Holly's second dressage show.  All had a wonderful outing and looking forward to the next show in two weeks.

Oxbow Dressage/CT - 4/6/08

Aside from the cold weather, spirits were high and a fine time was had by all.  Our horses performed their best, riders stayed on course, and we couldn't have asked for a more successfull day!  Looking forward to going back to Oxbow... when spring really takes hold - We'll be back in May!

JD, as always - we're indebted to you for the wonderful photos that captured a terriffic day.

Our first show of the year was very successful.  It was our first time out with new horse/rider combinations and all did well.  The horses acted like seasoned pros and riders were on their game.  The weather was mild and the atmosphere as well as fellow competitors were all very pleasant.

Results are as follows:

Joanne Pelosi on Bouncer 4th & 1st
Michele Jay on Kohe - 2nd & 3rd
Keaton Gray on Bouncer 2nd & 4th
Kate Cicchino  on Balmera 1st & 2nd
