SOLD - To Ms. Olivia Longstaff!
Mr. Pimms is a WelshX medium pony with a stout build. He can do first lead line lessons with small children, or gladly go for the older set, on the trails/Hunter Paces, and he's an all around great guy!
His ground manners are excellent (my daughter body clipped him herself and he didn't flinch), he's good for the vet and farrier, ships well, and is terrific off farm. He's sound and enjoys working.
He's not the dead quiet kick, kick, kick along type. If his young riders has decent balance and they ask him to go - he will. He stops when they're off balance - and tries hard to please. For the very beginners, he'll take it slower, but they do actually have to steer him. He won't just plod along on the outside rail.
He'll do best as a Pony Club mount/Games pony, and loves hacking out on the trails. In 2009 he did the Readington Trail Pace, and Bucks County Hunter Pace with a 13 year old, and 11 year old respectively. I also took him out foxhunting with my 6 year old daughter, and he was a saint (we didn't stay out long, but he was perfect.)
He's a doll and currently available for sale for $2500.00 or on farm lease. He's also recently started offering his changes around a small course. Not consistent, but he's figuring it out.
